It's All About Visibility

EMAIL NEWSLETTERS

Email newsletters are a form of permission email marketing in which the customer has opted-in to receive regular communication from a company through email.

There are many ways a company may receive email marketing permission.  The most common method is called “opt-in,” which means the user has checked a box that states they are giving permission for the company to send them email.  “Double opt-in” is a method that requires the user to first opt-in and then click a link in a confirmation email to confirm that they in fact did sign up for the email newsletter. Another method is called “opt-out,” in which the user must uncheck a box in order to not start receiving the communications.

Opt-in email marketing newsletters are a cost-effective means of communicating marketing messages and promotional offers. Permission-based email marketing newsletters generally perform better than email list rental or purchase because the people receiving the messages are expecting to hear from you. Email newsletters may also be used to generate revenue by selling email advertising space within the newsletter.

A legitimate email marketing campaign, combined with conversion tracking provides an efficient and legal channel that will quickly demonstrate its value.
